About the Role: Planet is seeking an experienced HR Business Systems Analyst. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve system performance across core business applications. You’ll manage configurations, assist enhancements, support new implementations, and ensure that integrations between HRIS and any relevant systems run seamlessly. Working closely with other BSAs and technical teams, you’ll help prioritize initiatives, refine requirements, and ensure smooth testing and deployment through agile delivery cycles

Impact You’ll Own:

Serve as a functional and technical support partner for HR and Legal systems.
Support day-to-day operations including system configuration changes, data integrity and governance, system updates, and account administration.
Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to maintain data integrity between the HRIS, and other connected platforms.
Lead or contribute to system enhancement projects and assist in larger cross-functional initiatives.
Support new system implementations or integrations within the HR and Legal application landscape.
Partner with stakeholders to identify process gaps, gather requirements, and propose scalable, system-based solutions.
Perform data analysis, reporting, and auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance across systems.
Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and training materials for business users.
Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment activities.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or HRIS Analyst supporting HR, or Legal applications.
Familiarity with HR processes (HCM and Compensation) and experience partnering with HRIS teams.
Experience supporting or implementing Legal systems (e.g., Contract Lifecycle Management or eSignature platforms) preferred.
Proven ability to analyze business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate them into functional solutions.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Proactive, customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is listed below. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only. $162,600—$203,200 USD
