The role of an Insurance Expert at Alan is to:

Design and price insurance offers,
Monitor the business and the risks,
Help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance.

⭐️ Is it you we're looking for? ⭐️

You may be a great fit for the role if:

You have 5+ years of experience in the insurance sector, with meaningful exposure to health insurance products (hospitalisation, group insurance, disability or dental)
You are fluent in English and French/Dutch
You combine a scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with practical experience in insurance (product, pricing, regulatory or analytics)
You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data, business and legal questions into actionable outputs
You have a builder mindset: you continuously identify opportunities to improve and scale processes and systems
You are willing to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry and challenge the status quo
You communicate in a clear, structured and to-the-point way (written and spoken)

⚠️ Note: we are not looking for risk/finance actuaries focused on Solvency 2, IFRS 17, ALM or asset management expertise.

For this role, we are looking to hire within the D-F level range.
