Job Summary

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients within the chemical engineering and industrial sectors. You’ll conduct outbound outreach, qualify leads, schedule meetings, and support the sales pipeline through strategic prospecting and relationship-building.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with B2B sales experience, technical sales exposure, or a background in engineering-related industries who want to build a long-term career in remote sales.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and other sales channels.
Identify decision-makers within chemical manufacturing, industrial processing, engineering, and technical organizations.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, budget, and fit.
Schedule discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
Maintain accurate records of activities, pipelines, and lead statuses within CRM platforms.
Research target companies and industry trends to personalize outreach campaigns.
Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation strategies.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients and maintain professional communication throughout the sales cycle.
Meet or exceed KPIs related to outreach activity, lead qualification, and booked meetings.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Business Development, or B2B Sales.
Experience selling into engineering, manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or technical industries is highly preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
Ability to understand technical products and communicate value propositions clearly.
Proven experience with outbound prospecting and cold outreach.
Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical fields is a strong advantage but not required.
