Summary of Responsibilities:

Create and implement sales in operational activities for Wedding, MICE and events business
Proactively target Wedding and MICE opportunities, especially Japanese markets
Proactively sell the hotels’ event spaces and drive Rooms and F&B revenue into the event, restaurant, and bar areas
Plan, lead and execute all Japanese MICE & Wedding events, ensuring all operational processes and procedures are adhered to
Establish local partnerships and co-operations to promote accommodation and events
Establish business and market share for Wedding, MICE and special events business
Establish and maintain relationships with assigned MICE agencies

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in the same position or related fields in the hospitality industry
Fluent in Japanese, with a certified language test (minimum N2)
Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken
Proven track of achieving targets, has strong organizational and time management skills
A team player with leadership skills with customer-service orientation
Exceptional communication, negotiation ability, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields
