Our mission is to empower independent supply stores with best-in-class technology. Think of your local hardware store or mom-and-pop nursery—these are our clients. From paint to lumber to flooring, over 200,000 such stores across the country sell over $1T of building materials annually using outdated, on-premises systems. We’re aiming to help them modernize so that they can continue to thrive.

Backed by leading investors including Bessemer and CRV, we've raised $18M across three rounds and are growing quickly. Our team is made up of builders, sellers, and industry veterans with a shared goal: to bring modern technology to an overlooked industry.

Interview Coordination

Schedule and manage on-site and virtual interviews end-to-end — calendar invites, briefing materials, room bookings, and virtual links
Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring a warm and professional experience throughout
Track interview feedback and follow up to keep pipelines moving

ATS Management (Ashby)

Keep candidate records, pipelines, and job postings accurate and up to date
Own ATS configuration including stages, templates, and automation workflows
Pull pipeline reports and maintain a log of recurring and ad hoc reporting needs

Onboarding

Coordinate all pre-boarding and onboarding logistics for US hires: statutory compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR), employment contracts, and equipment procurement
Facilitate a smooth Day 1 experience and maintain onboarding checklists

Offboarding

Manage end-to-end offboarding including exit documentation, equipment retrieval, system access revocation, and final pay coordination
Ensure compliance with US labor law requirements and surface insights from exit interviews to the People team

Talent & Admin Support

Maintain organized talent documentation across Notion and Google Drive
Support recruiters with candidate data, scoring sheets, and shared inbox management
Identify process gaps and support broader Talent team initiatives as needed

Work Schedule

Tuesday to Saturday: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Philippine Time)

Compensation

$1,200/month

Engagement Type

Independent contractor role
Must be registered with the BIR as self-employed
Responsible for filing and paying own taxes

Requirements

1. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Based in Metro Manila or nearby provinces (Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, Bulacan)
6-8 years of experience in talent coordination, HR operations, or recruiting support, with hands-on ownership of end-to-end hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Prior experience at a startup or other fast-moving, high-growth environment
Registered with the BIR as an independent contractor
Detail-oriented with high accuracy, especially on compliance-sensitive work
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Clear and professional communication skills
Self-directed and comfortable in a remote setup

2. Technical Skills

Proficient in Google Suite
Experience with Ashby or another ATS (preferred)
Familiarity with HR processes and Philippine compliance (advantage)
Comfortable working with and presenting data

3. Setup Requirements

Reliable personal computer or laptop
Stable internet connection for remote work and virtual meetings

Interview Process

Screening Call (20 minutes) An introductory call with Amanda to get to know each other and discuss your background at a high level.
Remote Interview (30 minutes) A video interview with Elena covering your experience, career aspirations, and alignment with our team's values and ways of working.
On-Site Interview (1 hour) An in-person interview with Amanda focused on how you think, adapt, and problem-solve in a fast-moving environment.
Reference Check We'll ask for two professional references who can speak to the quality and impact of your work.

Amanda - Marketing Management grad from De La Salle University-Manila with a graduate degree in Landscape Architecture from University of the Philippines 🎓 Grew up spending summers in the Bay Area, which is how she found her way into recruiting for VC-backed startups. Former child triathlete now found on the tennis court, golf course, scuba diving, or out in the great outdoors 🌊🎾
Elena - Talent leader who built recruiting teams and people infrastructure from zero at multiple high-growth startups; 3x Talent100 Global TA Leader and Forbes HR Council member. Aspiring carpenter, on a continuous exploration of varying and random hobbies and interests. 🐼
