The Role

Mach's Fall 2026 — Engineering Co-op is open for future engineers and builders who want to work with us.

Depending on your background and team placement, you might work on:

Autonomous systems — guidance, control, and navigation software for unmanned platforms
Embedded firmware and real-time software for flight and drive systems
Mechanical and structural design, manufacturing, and test of hardware components
Propulsion, energetics, or systems integration for new defense platforms
Tools, infrastructure, and simulations that accelerate engineering velocity

What We're Looking For

Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer science, or a related engineering discipline
Intellectual curiosity and the drive to own problems end-to-end
Genuine interest in defense technology, national security, or the future of autonomous systems

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
