Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an Infrastructre Hardware Systems engineer for Surface Systems, you’ll be a member of an agile team responsible for delivering a robust, flexible, secure, and stable infrastructure for U.S. Navy surface ships. You will develop and configure common solutions to complex problems, test and troubleshoot in a lab environment, and create documentation to support a rigorous engineering process. You'll meet with your team daily to collaborate and problem solve to ensure we meet our commitments to the U.S. Navy mission.

Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring schematics, parts lists or rack layouts
troubleshooting computing hardware issues in a lab or customer site
Developing schematics using Siemens Capital Logic Designer

USD $142,696.00 - USD $158,303.00 /Yr.
