1. Prepare Journal entries, account reconciliation and management reporting for Amazon legal entities;
2. Support the Management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures and policies;
3. On the audit front, the analysts will manage department’s response to internal and external audit requirements and will also ensure compliance with SOX and policy requirements;
4. Work with finance Operation peers / Central accounting to resolve and escalate issues noted from accounting reconciliation and follow up the action plan to ensure the issue is entirely fixed;
5. Participate/lead projects that contribute to the team's overall efficiency;
6. Analyze data provided by variant tools and systems for internally financial analysis, reporting and documentation;
7. Play an important role in promoting systems/process development and AI tools to ensure ongoing efficiency and control improvements;
8. Other ad hoc tasks assigned.

Basic qualifications

- Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1575+ gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. - Relevant experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts / working on Balance sheet Reconciliation & Reporting activities/ Accounting Knowledge
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance or above
- AI experience and delivered the process automation or simplification in production
- Goal driven, result orientated, self-motivated, able to step back and look at the bigger picture
- Ability to solve problems independently in an ambiguous and fast paced environment

Preferred qualifications

- Significant experience of project management & analysis within a fast paced multitasking driven
- CPA or Chartered Accountant equivalent certificate is preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience of Oracle R12 is preferred. Hands on experience on accounting & reconciliation process
