The Group Affairs and Facilities Management Supervisory Department at Rakuten is a strategic partner, continuously evolving and advancing to underpin the growth of the entire Rakuten Group.
The Asakai Operation Group of the Communication Section, General Affairs & Communication Department plays a crucial role. Our mission is to foster company-wide information sharing and boost employee satisfaction-both essential foundations for Rakuten Group's sustained growth. Position Details

Overview of Responsibilities
This position plays a crucial role in promoting smooth communication between management and employees, as well as among employees themselves, through the operation of meetings and events. This contributes to enhancing overall organizational engagement. Your planning and coordination skills are indispensable for the entire company to unite and achieve the Rakuten Group's mission.

Key Responsibilities
Our group's core responsibilities primarily consist of the following three areas. You will be involved in a wide range of tasks aimed at fostering a sense of unity within the company and boosting employee motivation.

1. Operation of Weekly All-Hands Meetings (ASAKAI)
- Planning, preparation, and facilitation of weekly morning meetings attended by all eligible employees.
- Supporting the foundation of company-wide communication by conveying messages from management, sharing important information, and facilitating Q&A sessions with employees.

2. Management and Operation of the Internal Award System (Rakuten Award)
- "Rakuten Award," which recognizes employee contributions and boosts motivation.

3. Planning and Operation of Large-Scale Events
- You will be responsible for the execution of all large-scale internal events, including overseas training tours, dinner parties, and employee entertainment events.

- This involves producing everything necessary for their success, from concept development and budget management to venue arrangements and on-site operations.

Examples of Specific Projects
On a daily basis, we are engaged in the planning, development, operation, and execution of important meetings and events that determine the direction of the entire Rakuten Group, based on direct instructions from the President and executives.

Organizational Structure
- Team Size: Asakai Operation Group 4 members (including an Manager)
- Age Range: 20s to 50s
- New Graduate vs. Mid-Career Ratio: Approximately 2:8 *This ratio may vary slightly depending on the year.

Average overtime hours
During Peak Seasons: Overtime is estimated to be 30-40 hours per month
Outside Peak Seasons: Overtime is estimated to range from no overtime to 10 hours per month

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. TOEIC score of 800 or higher
2. Native-level Japanese proficiency
3. Practical experience (intermediate level or higher) with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Desired Qualifications:

Required Skills & Qualities
1. Practical Experience in English: Experience in conducting meetings, creating documents, and coordinating with overseas offices in English.
2. Event Planning Experience: Experience encompassing concept development, budget management, vendor negotiation, and on-site event operations.
3. Experience in HR Evaluation Systems: Involvement in the design or operation of HR evaluation systems, particularly award systems.
