In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and validate mapping algorithms for cities and highway driving.
Collaborate in building a highly automated, scalable, multi-modality, 3D mapping system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and technical roadmaps.
Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle including prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, and validation.

Qualifications:

M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Proficient in C++ and Python
Experience with factor graphs, pose estimation, SLAM, probabilistic filtering, and 3D data
Strong mathematical skills

Bonus Qualifications:

Experience with autonomous robots
Experience with real-time sensor fusion (e.g., IMU, LiDAR, camera, GNSS)
Experience working with geospatial data and coordinate systems
